Day 1 Casablanca :
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met and transferred by van to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, Overnigt at Hotel (Either in Casablanca or Rabat).
Day 2 Casablanca to Chefchaouen :
After breakfast, you will leave towards Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco in the Rif Mountains. On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King, for lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. After lunch you will continue on to Chefchaouen for the night. Dinner will be served in the riad.
Day 3 Chefchaouen to Fez :
After breakfast, you will have a tour of this “cool” blue town, tucked away in the mountains. You will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. Then you will head off to Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Dinner will be served in a Riad or at local restaurant.
Day 4: Fez :
After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the Kings Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening. Dinner will be served in a Riad or at local restaurant.
Day 5: Fez to Marrakech
After breakfast, you will head off towards Marrakech.
Marrakech is a vibrant city in Morocco known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and bustling markets. It’s often called the “Red City” due to the color of its buildings and walls. Key attractions include the historic medina, you will visit upon arrival the famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served in a Riad or at local restaurant.
Day 6: Marrakech :
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and a guided visit to the Djemaa el-Fna square. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) of Marrakech.
Day 7 –Marrakech / Essaouira 2.5 hour drive :
Your morning can be spent enjoying your riad, the souks, or visiting the Marjorelle Garden Badie Palace. After lunch you will continue on to the coastal town of Essaouira. You will have the opportunity to stop at an Argan Cooperative to see how the Argan nut is used to make Argan oil and stop to see a view of Essaouira in the distance. Dinner will be served at local restaurant or at your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.
Day 8 –Essaouira :
After breakfast you will take a cooking class at cooking school and learn how to cook some of the famous Moroccan dishes (Optional). Your afternoon will be free to explore the spice markets and the town or relax in your riad. Dinner will be served at local restaurant or at your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.
Day 9 –Essaouira / Casablanca 5 hour drive
After breakfast you will head back up the coast to Casablanca. You will travel through the towns of Safi (famous for its pottery) and El Jadida (known for its old Portuguese cistern). You will conclude the day I checking into your Hotel in Casablanca. Dinner will be served at local restaurant or at your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 –Casablanca / Depart :
You will be taken to the airport today for your flight home.
