Day 1 – Casablanca-Rabat
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met at the airport and driven to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. There you will check into the Sofitel hotel. Depending on arrival time, there is an optional visit to the Hassan II Mosque before leaving Casablanca. In Rabat you will be able to visit the Chellah (Phoenician ruins), Kasbah Oudayas (ocean front fortress). Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and see the outside of the King’s Palace .
Day 2 – Rabat / Fes
After breakfast, you will drive to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. After checking into the riad you
will begin your tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled-in cities. You will explore the
narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other Moroccan art objects. You will be captivated by your visit to the Medersa Bou Inania, founded in 1351-1356. A visit to the tannery, weavers, and a pottery cooperative will also be included into the tour. You will also have an opportunity to see the Sffraine square with its brass and silverware, the Nejarine fountain, old water clock, and Fes Jdid, the old Jewish quarters.
Day 3 –Fes
A visit to the King’s Palace, Nejjarine Square, the Jewish Cemetary, and Dar Batha Museum are a few
of today’s options. For lunch you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina and spend the afternoon shopping on your own.
Day 4 –Fes / Marrakech
After breakfast, you will set out for Marrakech. Along the way you will stop by the 2000-year-old Roman ruins of Volubilis for an optional visit and will get an idea of what life might have been like during the Roman Ruins. You will then continue on along the highway down to Marrakech.
Day 5 – Marrakech
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and Koubba Ba’Adiyn. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with a limitless selection of art objects of Morocco including antiques, and chic fashion
Day 6 – Marrakech
Now that you’ve had a chance to explore a bit of the city you could have this day free to revisit the city on your own, visit some of the pretty parks, or go back to the souks for shopping.

If you would like to visit more locations you could visit Imlil. Imlil is about 1.5 hour drive from Marrakech
and the town is located at the base of the tallest mountain in North Africa, Mount Toubkal. You could spend the day enjoying the village and taking a 2-3 hour nature hike. You would return to Marrakech in the evening.
Day 7 –Marrakech / Essaouira 2.5 hour drive
Your morning can be spent enjoying your riad, the souks, or visiting the Marjorelle Garden Badie Palace. After lunch you will continue on to the coastal town of Essaouira. You will have the opportunity to stop at an Argan Cooperative to see how the Argan nut is used to make Argan oil and stop to see a view of Essaouira in the distance. Upon arrival you will check into Dar L’Ouissa and enjoy delicious fresh seafood for dinner.
Day 8 –Essaouira
After breakfast you will take a cooking class at Madada Mogador’s cooking school and learn how to cook some of the famous Moroccan dishes. Your afternoon will be free to explore the spice markets and the town or relax in your riad.
Day 9 –Essaouira / Casablanca 5 hour drive
After breakfast you will head back up the coast to Casablanca. You will travel through the towns of Safi (famous for its pottery) and El Jadida (known for its old Portuguese cistern). You will conclude the day I checking into the Novotel in Casablanca.
Day 10 –Casablanca / Depart
You will be taken to the airport today for your flight home.
