This honeymoon gives you time. You begin with a night in a riad in Rabat’s quiet Kasbah, spend two nights in Fes, stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis on the way south, then enjoy three nights in Marrakech, including a free day for a spa, the Agafay desert or a balloon flight. The trip ends with two nights in Essaouira and a cooking class for two before the coastal drive back to Casablanca.

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Your driver meets you at the airport and drives you to Rabat (about 1.5 hours). Check in to a riad near the Kasbah of the Udayas and walk along the Bou Regreg river in the evening.
Day 2: Rabat – Fes
Morning visit of the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Andalusian garden of the Kasbah. In the afternoon you drive to Fes and settle into your riad.
Day 3: Fes
A guided day in the medina, the Royal Palace gates, the Mellah and the Nejjarine fountain. End the day with a hammam for two and dinner in a palace restaurant.
Day 4: Fes – Volubilis – Marrakech
A long but varied day: the mosaics of Volubilis and the view over the holy town of Moulay Idriss, then the road south to Marrakech, where you arrive in the evening.
Day 5: Marrakech
Guided visit of the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the souks, and an evening in Jemaa el-Fna for its food stalls and musicians.
Day 6: Marrakech, free day
Your day to choose: a sunrise balloon flight, a spa afternoon, a dinner in the stone desert of Agafay or a trip to the Ourika Valley. Activities are booked on request.
Day 7: Marrakech – Essaouira
A morning in the Majorelle Garden, then about 2.5 hours west to Essaouira through argan country.
Day 8: Essaouira
A Moroccan cooking class for two, then a free afternoon on the beach or the ramparts, and sunset at the Skala.
Day 9: Essaouira – Casablanca
About 5 hours along the coast, with a seafood lunch in Oualidia or El Jadida on the way.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to Mohammed V Airport for your flight home.

What can we do on the free day in Marrakech?
Popular choices are a sunrise hot-air balloon flight, a hammam and spa, a sunset dinner in the Agafay desert, or a half day in the Ourika Valley in the Atlas foothills.
Is this the same as the 10-day honeymoon via Chefchaouen?
No. This one has a night in Rabat and three in Marrakech. The Chefchaouen version trades them for a night in the blue city.
Can we skip Volubilis to shorten day 4?
Yes. Without Volubilis the drive from Fes to Marrakech is shorter and you arrive in time for an evening walk.
Do you organise the cooking class?
Yes, it is part of day 8 in Essaouira, and we can replace it with another activity if you prefer.
