Frequently asked questions
How many days do I need for a Sahara desert tour from Casablanca?
Plan at least 8 days. Merzouga is a long drive from Casablanca, so our 8-day tour breaks the journey in Fes and returns through the Dades Valley, Ouarzazate and Marrakech.
What is the best time to visit the Moroccan Sahara?
March to May and late September to November bring warm days and cool nights. Summer days in Merzouga often pass 40 °C and winter nights can be close to freezing, so we adapt the program to the season.
Where do we sleep in the desert?
You spend a night in a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, reached by camel at sunset. We can book a standard or a luxury tent depending on your budget.
Are your Sahara tours private?
Yes. Every tour is private: your own driver and vehicle, a flexible pace and an itinerary we adapt to your dates and interests.
