The route is our grand loop through Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara, the gorges, Marrakech and Essaouira, with two free days built in: one in Marrakech for a spa, a balloon flight or simply the pool, and one in Casablanca before your flight. Every night is in a riad, kasbah or camp chosen with couples in mind.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Private transfer to your hotel and a quiet first evening.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Morning visit of the Hassan II Mosque, lunch in Rabat, then the drive into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen
A guided walk in the blue medina and sunset at the Spanish Mosque.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
The Roman ruins of Volubilis, the imperial city of Meknes and an evening arrival at your riad in Fes.
Day 5: Fes
A guided day in the medina, followed by a hammam and massage for two.
Day 6: Fes – Middle Atlas – Erfoud
Cedar forests, Berber villages and the Ziz Valley on the way to Erfoud.
Day 7: Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
The market and old ksour of Rissani, Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia, then a camel ride into Erg Chebbi and a night in a desert camp.
Day 8: Merzouga – Todra – Dades – Ouarzazate
Sunrise in the dunes, a walk in the Todra Gorge, the Dades Valley and an evening in Ouarzazate.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
The fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, then the Tizi n’Tichka pass over the High Atlas to Marrakech.
Day 10: Marrakech
Guided visit of the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the souks, and an evening in Jemaa el-Fna.
Day 11: Marrakech, free day
Spa, pool, a sunrise balloon flight or a sunset dinner in the Agafay desert: the day is yours. Activities are booked on request.
Day 12: Marrakech – Essaouira
About 2.5 hours west through argan country to the ocean.
Day 13: Essaouira
A guided walk in the medina and the port, then a free afternoon by the sea.
Day 14: Essaouira – Casablanca
The coastal road via El Jadida and its Portuguese cistern, with dinner at Rick’s Café in Casablanca.
Day 15: Casablanca, free day
Rest before the flight: the Corniche, a spa or last shopping.
Day 16: Departure
Transfer to Mohammed V Airport.

How is this different from the 14-day honeymoon?
It adds two free days, one in Marrakech and one in Casablanca at the end. The 14-day honeymoon has no free days.
Can we end the trip in Marrakech?
Yes. If your flight leaves from Marrakech we rework the last days around it.
Can you arrange a private dinner in the desert?
We can ask the camp for a private table under the stars or in your tent; availability depends on the camp.
Is Morocco safe for honeymooners?
Morocco is a popular and welcoming destination. Usual city precautions apply, and your driver or guide is with you on every transfer and visit.
